By submitting your image to our competition, you are agreeing to the following:
- That you are entering the correct age category and you are an amateur photographer
- That your photo:
- Has been taken by you between the 5 June 2020 and 31 August 2020
- Has been submitted by Monday 31 August 2020
- Has been taken somewhere on the Shoreham Beach LNR, this includes anywhere on the beach from the harbour wall to the Church of the Good Shepherd
- Is a single image i.e. not composed from several images. Video images are also not accepted.
- Is an original and not from the internet or any other similar source.
- That while copyright of images will be retained by the photographer, FoSB are able to reproduce (with credit to the photographer) your image:
- In our Beach in Summer exhibition of first prize and highly recommended entries
- On our website and social media and in future publicity (printed and online)
- That the judges’ decisions are final and absolutely no correspondence will be entered into.
- That you are either:
- 16 years and over and you consent to FOSB collecting, processing and storing your image and personal data. Images and data will be processed for the purposes of administering the photo competition and contacting you if necessary in that regard.
- Or the entrant’s parent or guardian and you agree to FOSB collecting, processing and storing the image and personal data you submit. Images and data will be processed for the purposes of administering the photo competition and contacting you if necessary in that regard.
- Please note, you can withdraw consent by contacting us at any point.
- If you opt in to be on FoSB’s mailing list your data will be stored securely. FoSB will use your contact details to inform you about future events, walks and talks and the work of FoSB. You can withdraw consent by contacting us at any point.
- We will contact all winners and highly commended entrants by 14 September 2020.
- Winners and highly commended entries will be announced by 18 September 2020.
